We now have 58 active members. We will rent a port a potty for all large future events. Hats and T-shirt: Prices are now $15 for each Kerr is working with SALT to get the posted signs. We have the liability certificates for insurance. Committee Chairs Hunt Test: Big success. $1159 profit. Second weekend of March for next Test. AKC event calendar may read 3d week but we are going to Test on the 2nd week. Handlers Clinic: Phil Hearne Jan 23 & 24 for Handlers Clinic. Cost: $100 for handler w 1 dog. $35 to audit course, no dog. We will accept the first 10 handlers. Contact Phil Hearne for further information. Land Committee: Need to pump septic tank Oak needs trimming by house Windows need finishing. We need a date to burn fields. Phil will coordinate this with Randy and Forest Service. We also want to clear off several acres in back. General info: Kathy Appfel: Got a great deal on tee shirt "mistakes" Lorrine Rothrock on "Dixie Award" The award will be for any club member's dog that has achieved an AKC Championship and an AKC Master Hunter title. It does not matter which one was first, only that they completed both. The date they complete both titles will be displayed on a special plaque and Beer mug. The Rothrock's hope to start this award at the club dinner March 2010-the weekend of the hunt test. The starting date would be from 3/07 to present and ongoing. This is when Dixie finished her Master Hunter title. If you have a dog that qualifies for this award, please email the dates each title was completed to the Rothrock's. Betty: J. Pelot only want to do one day for food at hunt test. Betty will coordinate food & prices at next hunt test. -Thanks to everyone that cleaned up after last hunt test. Fund Raising: Jan Holloway March Hunt Test- Silent Auction, collectables. We accept donations for Silent Auction. Wednesday meeting with Candice Williams & George. Would like to have a field day and invite SALT. Bill is setting up a website and needs club information in electronic format.
